E-Logistics

E-logistics is the abbreviation for electronic logistics and represents a sub-area of e-business. Basically, electronic logistics is the digital version of classic logistics processes, i.e. the planning, execution and control of all logistics tasks is internet-based. The focus is on the automation of processes by means of internet-based technologies as well as web-based services and applications.

For companies, e-logistics offers the possibility of obtaining complete control and transparency over the entire supply chain and consequently of efficiently coordinating individual processes so that increasing customer requirements can be met.
