Girls'Day at bergler industrieservices GmbH

girlsday-2022-bergler

On 27 April 2022, Girls'Day once again took place – the world's largest career orientation project for schoolgirls. Through it, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) want to encourage girls to base their choice of career or course of study entirely on their own interests rather than on supposed gender stereotypes.

A Glimpse into the Working World

For us, taking part in this project is simply a given – we firmly believe that one thing matters most for a strong team: the drive to get stuck in together! That's why we were especially glad to welcome Bianca to our site in Erlensee for this year's Girls'Day!

Bianca is the daughter of our colleague Marcos Alberto Sakumoto, who works as a picker & packer in our fulfillment operations. During Girls'Day she had the chance to see for herself what shipping logistics and order picking involve, get to know the many processes on site, and discover our robot-assisted picking system. And of course, Bianca pitched in enthusiastically with all of these tasks too!

The whole team at bergler industrieservices GmbH would like to say a warm thank you once again for the great help and the strong interest shown in our company! We hope Bianca enjoyed her time with us just as much. Action days like Girls'Day are close to our hearts, because even a small glimpse into working life can lay the foundation for a later career choice. We're already looking forward to next year!
