We already mentioned back in February that we would be expanding further in April. Following Erlensee, we are now also present in Großostheim. At the new location in Großostheim's Industrie- und Handelspark Süd, we're adding a further 17,000 m² of usable space. This benefits our fulfillment customers exclusively. Among other things, we'll be relieving a major retail customer there with more than 1,000 shipments, or 3,000 parcels, per day. To give you a sense of scale: the new site is designed for a shipping volume of over 10,000 parcels per day.
Why Großostheim? For us as a fulfillment service provider, good connectivity to all relevant parcel carriers was a particularly important selection criterion. But it's not just the usable space that's growing: if expectations for the Großostheim site are met, our workforce is expected to grow to around 200 employees
over the course of the year. With more space and staffing capacity, we're ideally equipped to make your day-to-day logistics processes even faster and more efficient – we're looking forward to it!
